Tim's Cookin'

Chris came over and Tim cooked AMAZING tri-tip...

Game Night

Tim and I went to a friend's apartment last weekend for Game Night...so fun! We had amazing food (it was a potluck....everyone cooked, and Tim and I brought Tostitos and store-bought salsa) and played "I Love the 80's" and "Apples to Apples."

Lucky!

My dad's new Horse, Lucky, is beautiful, mild-mannered, and incredibly sweet. Can't wait to ride him! A few pictures...

Update

Okay, so first of all, we apologize for the amount of time between this post and the last post! I'm sure many of you have been on the edge of your seat, checking this website on a daily basis with bated breath... :)

Things here in SD are entertaining and busy-- we can't complain. Granted, it looks like the stability of my job next year is bleak at the very best (thanks to budget cuts and the brainpower behind our current Governator), but there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, so I'm trying to take the highroad and instead enjoy my wonderful classes and the fact that I get to teach and analyze amazing books for a living-- (According to one of my students, it's pretty "legit sauce.")

Two weekends ago Tim went snowboarding at Mammoth, and my mom came down for a visit. We hiked in Torrey Pines...Chris, Garrett, and Nick tagged along, too...

High-class haircut...

Things I learned on Feb. 2, 2008:
Tim is not a hairdresser. He does not know what "feathered" means. Therefore, I shouldn't have asked him to cut my bangs. And I shouldn't have given him rusty "school" scissors to do so...
